Scripps Ranch Theatre (San Diego CA) is currently accepting scripts for its 8th annual Out On A Limb new play festival.
Deadline is March 1, 2019.
Please only submit finished works (no treatments or drafts). Plays must not exceed 10 minutes.
After your play has been received it will be reviewed. We will make a final selection of 6 plays to present in performances on July 12-14 and 19-21. If your play is selected you will receive a stipend to present your play in the performances.
This year we are adding an exciting element to the festival. CASH PRIZES! Each play will be judged by a distinguished panel of judges and our audience. At the end of each show we will select an audience favorite. In addition, we accumulate all the scores from all the performances and award an overall first, second and third prize. This total will be culminated from the judges and the audiences. The prize money will be divided among the playwright, director and actors.
