Onion Man Productions is accepting submission for its 2018 Summer Harvest collection of 10-minute plays. The shows will be staged at Onion Man’s theatre space in Chamblee, GA in June of 2018.

The deadline for submissions is October 31st, 2017. 

 Below are the submission guidelines:
Maximum of 2 plays per playwright

• It should be a 10 minute play
• Must be an original work with no prior production
• Submissions are open to any writer although Georgia and southeastern
• playwrights will receive preference
• All submitted plays must be written to the following set requirements:

• The set is a street corner.

• The street names are Magnolia and Pine. 

• The action of the play should take place on the street corner up to the curb.

• On stage will be a street sign post and a bench. Behind the action will be

• flats posing as generic buildings on the street. There will be one doorway

• into a building. No other set elements are planned at this time.

Some suggestions for a submitted play:
Smaller casts (prefer 2-3, 4-5 max), simple staging, strong choices (bold is good), address the question of “why this day?” What is unique about the day the play takes place? 

Also, the characters need to impact on each other in such a way that will require change (or possibility of change).

Plays should be submitted in a PDF format without name or contact information for the writer on the script. Please place the writer’s name and contact information in the text of the email or on a separate cover page.
