One of my biggest obsessions, well, other than my family, is reading a great article about the liver, you too? In my case it started when I was diagnosed with HCV, today I am cured but never pass up a good read devoted to this fascinating organ.
Somehow last month I missed; The Liver: A ‘Blob’ That Runs the Body, written by Natalie Angier, published online over at the New York Times website. If you haven't had a chance to read it yet, you're in for a treat, here is a brief look:
After all, a healthy liver is the one organ in the adult body that, if chopped down to a fraction of its initial size, will rapidly regenerate and perform as if brand-new.
