web siteAt StageCoach Theatre Company, we are looking for original scripts for murder mystery dinner theatre performances.
Scripts should be written for 5-6 actors and include both men and women.
Total duration of the show including dinner and question-and-answer period from the audience should be approximately 2.5 – 3 hours. This is roughly 45 pages.
Show should have little or no set or technical requirements since shows will be performed in open rooms and restaurants.
Murderless mysteries are fine, too. They can be aimed at adults or at older children (10+).
All of our murder mysteries are PG13. Children’s mysteries should be PG rated.
We are also looking for original scripts for our Theatre for Young Audiences. These can be new stories or clever adaptations of traditional favorites.
Scripts should be written for 5-15 actors and include both men and women. Children age 12+ may be included in the cast but the show should be primarily adults acting for a young audience.
Show should be approximately 1 hour with no intermission.
Show should include some audience interaction from the children.
Show should have simple set requirements which can be easily transported.
Rating should be G or PG. Primary target audience would be 4-11 years old.
