Big Apple Theater Festival is a new monthly event which presents a series of 10-12 minute one act plays. Each month the festival will highlight short one act plays from playwrights and cast from the New York City metropolitan area.
CALL FOR ENTRIES

Big Apple Theater Festival seeks short plays for our JUNE short play series

• Theme of the play MUST be "scenes from a bar/restaurant"
• Concept can either be dramatic or comedic 
• Setting should be a bar/restaurant 
• MUST be no longer than 10-12 minutes 
• Tech requirements are simple "lights up/lights down" and may include one song 
• Productions must be non-union and no Equity Waivers
• Submissions must be e-mailed to SUBMISSIONS@BIGAPPLETHEATERFESTIVAL.COM .
• All submissions must include script, playwrights name, short bio and contact information 
• All playwrights and cast must be from the New York City Metropolitan area 
• Submission deadline is May 15th
